neone Meeting

In 2000 neone's faith or belief in Happenings and Performance art was no longer strong. They had felt a need for a new direction, they had called a meeting in which to discover a method of making that continued in the spirit of neone, but was to to take on new ideas. This documentated meeting turned neone's new approach into a new concrete position.

“To escape the gallery, the institution, we acted. To produce objects of art was to create a need to give it a shelter. A place that defined its very existence. To create an object, a record of a performance, a happening, an intervention. Was to transfer the ‘aura’ of the work, the object became art, the performance a memory.
We were bound in a paradox, to create is to conform, to perform is to be lost”
